This is one of my favorite sci-fi action movies and the last action movie i watched. The fifth element is definitely a recognizable futuristic action movie of the 90ts by Sony pictures entertainment (SPE). Release on the summer of 1997. The fifth element depicts an unreal futuristic fiction world where an evil force tries to destroy life on earth. In the above picture, we see “Lilu” one of the main characters in this movie, fighting against the “Mangalores,” abhorrent Warriors who want to get the fours stones, representing the four natural elements. In an act of vengeance, the Mangalores used their weapons to disturbed the passengers of “Fhloston paradise”.

There is not too much brutality in this scene and the rest of the movie where it is a fictional film of Hollywood standard violence. Nevertheless, it is noticeable during this sequence the “unique mix features of innocence, violence and sensuality of a young woman or teenager as an action heroine” (Brown 197).

The fifth element follows those standards of women as being more masculine. In this scene of the photograph “Lilu” is represented as the main subject and has strong knowledge of martial arts. the film shots of the movie are fast, more likely Hong Kong action style. There is one direction of the shot and then another shot and so on. fighting in order to get the point of attention. the fight in the scene has an interesting feature of how the Mangalores are depicted as the Dumb bad guys, whereas Milla Jovovich, “Lilu” is displayed as the women hero. Some filmmakers make and have their idea of heroism. Good and evil. Here, Jovovich may represent the heroine and good character. Her physical aspects of beauty or aesthetic point of view from the western audience. On the other hand, the Mangalores in this movie are characterized as a part of a minority aggressive Aliens of the universe. Perhaps this is a depiction of Western ideologies in cinema and film, which have been shaped part of Hollywood and American production ideologies.

A few curious details about the fifth element is the casting in which it had a huge variety of international actors. Moreover, another interesting aspect of this was Milla Jovovich, where She was selected around five-thousand other women actresses. Exceptionally, the box office did well with a domestic opening in the very first days earning more than $17 million dollars. The film had a significant impact in the late 90s as being one the most blockbuster movies on the big screen. For some viewers, the Fifth element is considered the best movie ever in the summer of 1997.
